A site content plan records all the decisions you made during the
planning process, along with a detailed map of how the content will be
organized.
- Site purpose. Describe your short- and long-term goals and
explain how you'll evaluate whether the site is achieving them.
- Target audiences. For each, identify the characteristics
relevant to site content (for example, age and occupation).
- Content inventory. List each piece of content to include,
along with a description, priority, and audience.
- Information hierarchy. This diagram shows the major content
categories and their relationship to one another.
- User scenarios. Create a narrative that shows how a
typical member of your target audience would use the content.
